I've seen where people have had conflicts with other controllers plugged in but I don't have anything else plugged in other than mouse and keyboard. I'm planning on getting a steering wheel for Christmas (and probably a shifter as well). I've consulted a friend and they believe that getting a used one is much less hassle, as buying a steering wheel brand new will cost around £200+, I Happy Easter! Currently having to use a button on the wheel to shift into reverse. An alternative would be to lose 1 forward gear (or more - depending on transmission) and use one of the physical positions on the shifter for reverse - but I just don't like that. I recently received a new G29 wheel plus a standard Logitech shifter. My problem is that the shifter doesn't seem to work with the game at all. I cannot program it to even work in real automatic transmission let alone The switch is to go between Automatic and Sequential. I don't think there's a switch to go between Manual (with a shifter) and Sequential. C1 and C2 will always show as such whether you have it set to range or Scania/Volvo 12+2. That's to let you know that you are in a crawler gear. Gear 1 will always be in shifter position 3 when you have a +2 transmission and your shifter layout is set to range. I managed to get the shifter working in game again but it only works when I remove my thrustmaster tx wheel from the devices tab on the game. As soon as I select my wheel the shifter stops working.
